Chemoluminescent Hair Gel
A new fun hair care product is Voltage iGlow, a self illuminating hair gel. Using Voltage is a lot like breaking open one of those light sticks you get at sporting events or concerts and dumping the contents over your hair.
Voltage iGlow creates a chemical reaction between flourophors and a catalyst which produces light as a byproduct. You don't need lights or batteries or bulbs to get the glow- and the illumination eventually washes out.
Instructions are to open the container, and to add the powder (catalyst) to the gel (which contain the flourophors). Then you should run the gel through your hair and shake your head. This will activate the glow.
You can use a hairdryer to make the glow even brighter, and to help it develop faster. This is best for super bright glow that doesn't need to last a long time. The heat will make the gel glow more brightly, but it also causes it to be used up more quickly.
Voltage iGlow is sold in 2 oz. tubes for about $11 a tube, and one tube should be enough for a couple uses.
